Make-A-Wish Gala: Winter Ball

For the fourth year, we're getting all glammed up together and heading to the ball for this exquisite black tie event.

Who says you need a date to attend a ball?! Not me, that's for sure! 

Join me and other likeminded socials as we dust off the tux, find the prettiest of gowns, and get all dressed up for an extraordinary black tie event. What makes it even better?! We'll be supporting the wonderful Make-A-Wish at the very same time. 

Your hosted corporate table will be right down the front, so you'll have delightful views of the outstanding entertainment and hopping on and off the dance floor will be a breeze. Aside from getting all glammed up and having a twirl, your ticket includes a three-course dinner with beer, fine wine, bubbles and soft drinks, along with all the trimmings that make for spectacular atmosphere and a fancy night out. And, to top it all off, you'll have the perfect opportunity to connect with other glammed-up Socials and enjoy the potential that comes with getting offline and embracing real life interactions and experiences. PLUS... the room will be filled with 499 other wonderful people, like you.. who know's who'll rub shoulders with!

6.30 pm  Meet your host, Bianca Tropeano, in the foyer of the Adelaide Oval (exact location will be advised). An opportunity to meet others in attendance and walk to the official entrance of the ball as a group

7.00 pm  The event officially starts and we'll be invited into the William Magary Room. For those who can't make it at 6.30 pm, you'll be able to find our tables on the map upon entry

Seating: Based on your registration details, we will create an initial seating plan. However, you're very welcome to move about, seat-hop around the table, and explore the entire room! I'll be moving between tables to ensure everyone is feeling fabulous and you're welcome to come find me at any time! 

Dress:     Black Tie / Formal 

                 Gents: Tuxedo or Suit and Tie

                 Ladies: Formal attire / Black Tie gown

Tickets:  Single tickets can be purchased, with an initial two tables of 10 available. Please purchase multiple tickets and state in your registration that you would like to sit next to each other, if that's the case. Entire tables of 10 can be purchased for those who wish to purchase a table and invite their own network, family or friends to join them. Any tickets or tables purchased through The Modern Social will be next to each other.

Dietaries: There'll be an opportunity to respond with your dietary needs upon registration of ticket

After the Event: This part is up to you! You may find that - together with any new connections made - you'd like to hop across the footbridge over the Torrens and into the casino, or 2KW, or the lovely little laneways of Hindley St. See how you feel by midnight and make sure to speak up and ask what others are doing or invite someone to join you somewhere if you'd like the night to continue. Depending on what shoes I wear, you may see me slipping into my ugg boots as I jump in an Uber.. but, we'll see!

Make-A-Wish Australia brings amazing people together to grant inspirational, life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We've made unicorns fly, sent kids to the moon, and together with our Wish Force, we're on a mission to grant a wish for every eligible child.

We're incredibly proud of our 800+ strong volunteer network who operate in over 60 locations across every Australian state and territory. Our volunteers help by raising awareness, fundraising and supporting local families, helping to capture a sick child's true wish and bring it to life through all stages of the Wish Journey. They're on the ground and in communities, helping to grant the wishes of hundreds of critically ill children each year.
